I read on slashdot the other day that NBC will be distributing selected movies via P2P. This is a great step towards a better distribution methods. It makes sense to cut the middle man and just distribute the shows / movies online. You can even let the clients bear the burden of distribution (uploads) by using a network similar to BitTorrent.
The question is how long until regular TV shows are shared like this.
